Mamelodi Sundowns have rejected an approach from Sekhukhune United for defender Rushine De Reuck.
De Reuck, 28, featured just five times for the first team last season after previously being an integral part of Sundowns and Bafana Bafana since his arrival from Maritzburg United.

This season was set to be a new chance to restore his place in the first team, but he’s made just three appearances out of a possible 20.
A couple of injuries were a slight part of falling in the pecking order behind Mothobi Mvala, Grant Kekana, Mosa Lebusa and more recently Malibongwe Khoza.
Sekhukhune approached Sundowns for a six-month loan deal ahead of the January window, but it’s been turned down, presumably due to the arrival of new head coach Miguel Cardoso.

It remains to be seen if the technical restructure will now turn around the fortunes of De Reuck at Masandawana.
