Golden Arrows have confirmed the signing of Zimbabwe international midfielder Jonah Fabisch, ending weeks of transfer speculation.
The club made the announcement on social media on Saturday, welcoming the former German-based playmaker to the Betway Premiership outfit ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Fabisch arrives in South Africa as a free agent after his contract with third-tier German side Erzgebirge Aue expired. He had spent the past two weeks in South Africa working towards securing his next move.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Fabisch chose to represent Zimbabwe internationally through his mother’s heritage, despite also being eligible for Germany. He came through Hamburger SV’s youth academy before senior spells with Hamburger SV II, 1. FC Magdeburg II, and Erzgebirge Aue.
The midfielder attracted significant attention following impressive performances for Zimbabwe at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, starting in all three group stage matches against Egypt, Angola and South Africa and providing an assist in a narrow defeat to Bafana Bafana.
The move sees Fabisch join the South African top flight for the first time, having spent his entire professional career in Germany.
Kaizer Chiefs had also been credited with interest, but reports indicated Amakhosi were not actively pursuing a deal, leaving Golden Arrows in pole position.
He arrives after the recent exit of Isaac Cisse to Royal Charleroi as an ideal box to box midfield replacement for the teenager Ivory Coast sensation.
