Twala Goes To India

Former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs winger William Twala has made another move abroad.

Twala, who spent the latter part of last season with GladAfrica Championship side Pretoria Callies, has now moved to India.

The 31-year-old has joined second division team Madan Maharaj, and has been announced as their biggest club signing ever.

Twala never quite established himself at Pirates or Chiefs and while at Pirates, spent two seasons on loan with Chippa United.

He later joiedn Chippa permanently, and also played for clubs like Free State Stars, Maritzburg United and Erbil Sports Club in Iraq.
