Orlando Pirates first team coach Fadlu Davids says they are facing an unpredictable Baroka side today, and they must not be complacent.
Pirates host Baroka at the Orlando Stadium at 19h30 this evening, as the DStv Premiership games schedule returns to late fixtures for the first time in over a year.
Pirates come into this game on the back of two consecutive wins (in the league and CAF Confederation Cup), but Davids says they need to not be complacent, but take the confidence from those results into the game.
“We face an unpredictable side, very awkward in their approach,” Davids told the club’s media department.
“The threats of course with their, height, with the long ball, second ball, that’s one area what you have to manage.
“But really it’s about us manipulating their structure to be able to unlock them, and score goals.
“Ja, it’s a very thin line to be able to take the positives and take the confidence out of the last matches.
“But don’t become complacent. Use the the positivity, use the confidence to be able to gain momentum and get the next result.”
