SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo says they need to do better in their home fixtures, starting on Wednesday against Cape Town City.
SuperSport, who have struggled at home lately, as they have also faced a whole host of players being unavailable, welcome City to the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Tembo’s side are currently eighth, one place ahead of City.
Having lost their last three successive home games, Tembo wants to rectify that situation.
“Well, I think the key factor is for us, you know this season we’ve really struggled to win at home, I think we’ve lost already three games,” Tembo told the club’s media department.
“Whereis last season we were very strong at home, I think we only lost one game at home, so we’ve never really been quite convincing at home.
“So we need to try and change that because we need to use that home advantage.
“And I think if we can take the commitment which we saw in the last three games, I think we should be able to get a positive result.
“But performance is very important, it is very key. We need to try and change one of a few things in terms of how we’re going to set up the team, and then we take it from there.”
