Former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana helped his side to reach the Last-16 of the UEFA Europa League.
Ngezana featured over 90 minutes as FCSB beat Greek giants POAK -0 on the night to progress 4-1 on aggregate.
As a consequence, FCSB qualified for the Last-16 of the competition, where the Romanian champions will either face Olympique Lyon or Eintracht Frankfurt.
FCSB’s opponents will be confirmed in Friday’s draw.
Ngezana has now already featured in 14 European games this season after FCSB initially played in the UEFA Champions League qualification rounds but ultimately dropped into the Europa League.
