Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of young defender Gopolang Taunyana.
The 20-year-old was part of the Amajita side who conquered Africa, winning COSAFA and U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Funny enough, he first came to the fore as a teen referee at Engen but it wasn’t long before he showed he could play too.
Most recently he was part of the Chiefs Reserves, who won the DStv Diski Challenge, but Amakhosi announced his exit on Tuesday and he has now been linked with a move Stellenbosch, according to Farpost.
