Golden Arrows defender Ntandoyenkosi Mabaso has sent a strong warning ahead of their MTN8 quarterfinal clash against Kaizer Chiefs.
The two sides will meet at FNB Stadium on Sunday evening, with a place in the semifinals at stake with kick-off scheduled for 18:00.
It will be the fourth and final quarterfinal of the competition before the semifinal draw takes place.
Mabaso is not short on confidence, saying Arrows are heading to FNB Stadium to secure victory and booking their place in the next round. He is adamant that the team will return home with a win.
“What I can say is as Arrows, as we’re going there, we will come back with good result,” said Mabaso on UKhozi FM as translated from Zulu.
“Actually, we’re going there to win.”
Mabaso feels Arrows could have done much better in their meetings with Amakhosi last season, but insists this time will be different as they look to turn their fortunes around.
“I’ve faced Chiefs on two occasions, I played against them in the first and second legs in the league last season,” he added.
“They will feel me this time around because they came out alive last time. We have to win this game.”
