Glasgow Rangers and Bafana Bafana defender Olwethu Makhanya says they need to turn the narrative of the club around of their disappointing exit in Europe last week.
Rangers looked poised for the UEFA Europa League this season but were knocked out and then completely from the UEFA Conference League – which has drawn major criticism from supporters.

Rangers have since bounced back from the exit with a 1-0 win over Aberdeen and while Makhanya has been one of the shining lights for the club – he emphasised the importance for the squad to turn the season around.
“Everyone is aware that it was a very disappointing result, so the mood right now is to focus on the upcoming games, we need to flip the narrative and turn things around for us,” Makhanya told Rangers TV.
“It’s very important for us as we know fans are frustrated, we have expectations ourselves that we need to meet, so it’s very important.”
Makhanya has already featured six times for the Scottish giants since making his debut earlier this month.
