Sekhukhune United have announced the departure of head coach Cedric Kaze, as first reported by iDiski Times.
The two parties have gone their separate ways via mutual agreement after just seven games into the 2026/27 season into Kaze’s one-year contract signed with the club.

Since joining Babina Noko, the Burundian mentor secured three wins and lost four, with defeats coming against Kaizer Chiefs and three consecutive losses to Orlando Pirates – which includes the two-legged MTN8 semi-final.
Papi Zothwane, who was roped in as Kaze’s assistant at the beginning of the campaign will now take charge and will be assisted by Paulus Masehe and Nascent Nkwashu.
