Sekhukhune United will take on TS Galaxy in their upcoming league game with Papi Zothwane as interim head coach with Cedric Kaze set to leave the club.
Kaze is set to part ways via mutual agreement after just seven games into the 2026/27 season into his one-year contract signed with the club.
The former Kaizer Chiefs co-coach and the club’s management have agreed to part ways after several internal disagreements over moving forward with the technical team and current playing squad.
Kaze secured three wins and lost four, with defeats coming against Chiefs and three consecutive losses to Orlando Pirates – which includes the two-legged MTN8 semi-final.
Fellow assistant coach Paulus Masehe was in charge of the side on Saturday in the absence of the Burundian mentor – who was serving a suspension after being sent off in their league defeat to the Buccaneers last week.
