Kruger United and Orlando Pirates have announced their respective starting lineups for this evening’s Betway Premiership clash at Mbombela Stadium.
The Village Boys are yet to taste a victory in top-flight football after suffering three defeats and drawing one in the four games. The newly promoted side scored only two goals and conceded seven goals.
Meanwhile, Pirates reached the MTN8 final for the fifth consecutive time after eliminating Sekhukhune United. The Sea Robbers are currently sitting top of the league table with 10 points after four games. Pirates are the second-highest goal-scoring team with eight goals, alongside Kaizer Chiefs.
This is the first time these two sides face each other, but Pirates have a good record against newly promoted sides. They already managed to beat Milford FC 2-0. Meanwhile, Kruger has never beaten a top-flight club in their history.
