Orlando Pirates starlet Mpho Padime has deservedly earned a call-up while Kaizer Chiefs’ DStv Diski Challenge goalkeeper Takalani Mazhamba, who was in goals for Amakhosi in their last league match of 2025/26 away to Chippa United, is also included.
Attacker Bennet Mokoena of Mamelodi Sundowns and Amakhosi’s no-nonsense 17-year-old defender Egan Freese is also in the squad.
