Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies continued their good form in the Hollywoodbets Super League maintaining their unbeaten run, but the weekend was overshadowed by a theft incident as valuables worth R250, 000 were stolen out of JVW Girls’ dressing room during their match.
Refilwe Tholakele scored the only goal late in Sundowns‘ game in their 1-0 win over Diepkloof Ladies in the Super Era division at TUT Campus to ensure that the defending champions remained at the summit of the log with 21 points in seven matches. The rookies remained second from bottom with three points from eight games.

Siyamthanda Qashani scored her second hat-trick of the season with Khunjulwa Mali adding another goal to help University of Pretoria (Amatuks) defeat Stellenbosch Ladies 4-0 in the same stream. Qashani is now the current top goal scorer with seven goals while Amatuks moved to second place with 16 points in eight outings. Stellies are at the bottom of the table with no points in eight matches.
Meanwhile, TS Galaxy Queens suffered their second successive defeat in the league, their third overall this term, going down 3-0 to University of Western Cape (UWC). Tiffany Kortjie put a Player of the Match performance with her brace while Philisa Mbanjane netted the other goal to see the Blues in third spot with 16 points in eight games. The Rockets slipped to fifth place with 13 points from the same number of games.
In the Super Rise stream, log leaders JVW FC were held to a 1-1 draw by new side Ramatlaohle a result that was overshadowed by a theft incident to property of the Blue Diamonds players in their locker room. It was also the first time they scored this term however they stayed at the bottom of the log with three points in eight games while TUT are in fourth position with 11 points from the same number of outings.
