Rulani Mokwena has been rewarded for his fine start in Egypt after winning the Manager of the Month August award.
Mokwena took over Pyramids ager a brief stint with Al-Ittihad in Libya. He has started his rein at Pyramids in perfect fashion, winning all six games so far.
In the Egyptian Premier League, Pyramids have started with four wins and four clean sheets – with three of those coming in August.
Mokwena has now been rewarded with the Manager of the Month accolade by the Egyptian Professional Footballers Association.

Mokwena’s side also hammered Kenyan champions Gor Mahia 7-1 on aggregate to reach the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
In the second round, Mokwena’s men will face South Sudanese side EL Merriekh Bentiu for a spot in the group stages.
Pyramids are back in action on Thursday when they will face Enppi in the league. Pyramids currently sit in third place on the log, with 12 points from four games – one behind leaders Al Ahly who have a game in hand.
