Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana has scored a brace in his side’s 5-0 hammering of Seychelles on Tuesday.
Burundi secured the comfortable win to move to 10 points from six matches in Group F. They now sit five points behind second-placed Gabon and six behind leaders Ivory Coast.

Bimenyimana scored his side’s second and third goal in the 24th and 31st minute but couldn’t complete his hat-trick after being taken off in the 62nd minute.
Christophe Nduwarugira, Bienvenue Kanakimana and Jean Claude Girumgisha scored the other goals fro Burundi.
