Ghana Fail To Qualify For AFCON

Ghana have failed to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations after their 1-1 draw with Angola in Luanda on Friday evening.

The four-time African champions took the lead with Jordan Ayew in 18 minutes, knowing they need six points from their final two games to have chance to salvage qualification.

However, the home side drew level in the second half through Zini which ultimately ended the Black Stars hopes of sealing a place at Morocco 2025.

The West African giants last failed to qualify for the tournament back in 2004, this after suffering a humiliating group stage exit in Ivory Coast last year.
