Mamelodi Sundowns have two players in the matchday five CAF Champions League Team of the Week after their impressive 4-2 win over Al Hilal on Saturday.
Sundowns are still unbeaten alongside the likes of, CR Belouizdad and Esperance de Tunis in this season’s group stage and qualified as Group A winners with a game to spare.
They managed to ease past Hilal in Sudan this weekend despite playing the match with ten men for over 80 minutes – a result that reaffirmed their status as one of the favourites in the competition.
Thapelo Morena, who played at right-back, right-midfield and striker in the same game was listed in the team of the week alongside teammate Teboho Mokoena – who scored the goal of the week.
