Lakay Completes Move Away From Pyramids

South Africa international forward Fagrie Lakay has completed his season-long loan to Egyptian Premier League side Cleopatra FC.

The 27-year-old initially rejected the loan move from Pyramids which sees highly rated Nigerian forward Sodiq Awujoola move in the opposite direction.

However, the move has now been completed after Lakay had signed a one-year contract extension before the end of the Egyptian Premier League season.

Lakay has featured 132 times for the club, scoring 32 goals with 10 assists since his move from Cape Town City in January 2022.
