Bafana Bafana midfielder Thabo Cele has joined Russian Premier League side FC Fakel Voronezh from Radomiak Radom.
The 26-year-old was reportedly offered a three-year deal to join Kaizer Chiefs after he signalled his intent to leave the PKO BP Ekstraklasa side this month.
After competing with South Africa in the recent Cosafa Cup where they finished third, he was open to returning to the country ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
ASFAR was also linked with a move for the KZN Academy graduate but the Russian top-flight side has now confirmed his arrival on a two-year deal.
Cele now embarks on his third different country in Europe after spells in Portugal, Poland and now the Eastern European nation.
