Golden Arrows forward Nduduzo Moli believes Siyanda Ndlovu has what it takes to thrive at Mamelodi Sundowns after completing his move during the current transfer window.
Ndlovu completed a surprise transfer to Masandawana after appearing destined for Orlando Pirates, who were beaten to his signature in one of the window’s biggest transfer twists.
The move came on the back of an outstanding stint with Abafana Bes’thende, where Ndlovu established himself as one of the league’s standout performers.
Moli says his former teammate’s attitude is his greatest strength, adding that Ndlovu is eager to learn and never hesitates to ask teammates for guidance whenever things are not going according to plan.
“He easily teachable, and he asks a lot what can help him for him to get better,” said Moli.
“I remember one time when he complained that the defenders can mark him now, we had to tell him what to do.
“He’s a fast learner and I believe that even at Sundowns, he will gel with other teammates.”
When asked about Ndlovu’s best position, Moli said he sees him primarily as a winger but believes he is equally capable of operating as a number 10.
“One v one [as a winger] he will finish you, but coach Manqoba was using him as a number 10,” he added.
“He wanted his mobility and breaking the lines.”
