Chippa United have released Technical Director Morgan Mammila from his duties, iDiski Times has learnt.
Mammila started the season at Chippa United as the head coach and led the team to accumulate 18 points from 16 games
But after losing two games in a row against Polokwane City and TS Galaxy in December, which also meant a run of just one win in eight league matches, he was moved into the Technical Director role in January.
Kwanele Kopo and Thabo September were appointed as new co-coaches for the remainder of the season. Even though Mammila was the TD, he was also allowed to sit on the bench and give advice to the two coaches and players.
However, information received from the Chippa United corridors states that Mammila has been released from his duties.
The former Baroka administrator was already not on the bench in the last game of the season between Chippa and Sekhukhune United.
Mammila recently completed phase one of the CAF B Diploma Coaching Course.
