Ouaddou, who has brought some hope in Gallants’ survival fight after collecting 10 points out of a possible 18 and gave them a sigh of relief after moving them out of the danger zone, has described the Bloemfontein as a city that needs Gallants to survive especially since it is a beautiful city.
“I was reading in the newspaper that it is David vs Goliath, I don’t think that it was today David vs Goliath,” Ouaddou.
“I have a lot of respect for Orlando Pirates. It is one of the best teams not only in South Africa, it’s one of the best team in Africa and my guys can be proud about the game they gave it was a small mistake in the first half, and we conceded a goal.
“But you know football sometimes the high level is small details, and we have to learn about that and to improve for the PSL. Like I said the most important for us is to focus and to save the life of the club and to stay in the PSL because Bloemfontein deserves to have a strong club.”
They are currently sitting in 12th place with 26 points, just three points above 15th-placed SuperSport United and they next take on Golden Arrows at home on Saturday, 19 April.
