Mamelodi Sundowns are in full control at the top of the DStv Premiership table at the end of 2023, as the league heads into a month and a half break during the CAF Africa Cup of Nations.
Six matches were played over the past weekend, with good wins for AmaZulu, Stellenbosch, TS Galaxy, Richards Bay and Cape Town City who end the year in second place.
Unbeaten Sundowns, who drew their last two fixtures of the year, remain steadfast at the top, six points ahead of their nearest rivals.
Cape Town Spurs remain at the bottom of the table and will have to work for if they are to save their status when the league resumes in February.
