Cape Town Spurs have confirmed their first signing ahead of the January transfer window.
The relegation-threatened side have shored up their defence with the arrival of former Maritzburg United and Stellenbosch centre-back Mogamed Rafiq de Goede.
He joins on a free transfer having left the Team of Choice at the end of last season and will be able to be registered in their DStv Premiership squad with immediate effect.
The 30-year-old has over 80 appearances in the South African top-flight and will look to add competition to the Urban Warriors who have 31 goals in 15 games.
Spurs are in 16th place with four points after the first half of the season, having won promotion through the playoffs last season.
