Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi admits that the regular cards forward Lucas Ribeiro Costa picks up are concerning.
Costa has been in sublime form this season with six goals and three assists in 10 games across all competitions but has also picked up five yellow cards.

Something that could hinder his personal ambitions and potentially miss out on big games this season with every four yellow cards meaning he will face a one-match suspension.
“With Lucas, it’s a big concern for all of us, he somehow finds a way to get a booking, even when it was difficult for him to get one,” he said.
“The tackle he made on the line was very unnecessary, but sometimes you must know when you’re working with South Americans, they think differently and give everything to the game which sometimes exposes them to such cautions.”

While the Brazilian may not be involved in anything malicious, it’s been a topic discussed to him as it’s avoidable.
“Yes, we’re concerned and personally had three or four one on ones with him because I really want him to understand… I think he’s improved in some instances, as he was really emotional before, he’s improving now,” he added.
“I’m seeing good progress, but still a lot of work to do. I think even other members of the club are trying their best to help with players like Lucas because we know how important they are, and it hurts us when they are not in the team because of cautions that maybe weren’t necessary.”
Costa will be aiming to continue his impressive form when they take on Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Knockout Cup this weekend at FNB Stadium.
