Marumo Gallants have announced the appointment of former Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki.
The former Bafana Bafana coach had been without a job since leaving Chiefs last season but will now return to the Free State.
Ntseki had initially joined Chiefs as Head of Technical and Development before he was named head coach ahead of the 2023/24 season, but he had only lasted 13 games.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic assistant coach now returns to the Free State, with Gallants currently sitting in 14th spot with four points from six league games.
“Marumo Gallants Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as the club’s new Technical Director. This strategic appointment is aimed at strengthening the club’s technical department and driving the success of the team on the field,” the club stated.
“Ntseki comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge, having coached various national youth teams, PSL Kaizer Chiefs and becoming the South African senior national team’s manager.
“His impressive track record and passion for developing young talent make him an ideal fit for the club. Hailing from Botshabelo, he has a deep understanding of the Freestate province and fans, which is an added bonus to the Bloemfontein-based Gallants squad.
“Gallants team and management look forward to Ntseki’s leadership and expertise to support the club’s technical growth and success.”
