Moroka Swallows head coach Musa Nyatama has revealed the club’s short-term and long-term goals for the season.
Swallows last won a league match against TS Galaxy back in November 2023. The Birds have gone nine matches without a win including two walkovers against Lamontville Golden Arrows and Mamelodi Sundowns.
With problems on and off the field at 14th-place Swallows. Nyatama has said the aim is to survive relegation in the short term and then possibly target a top-eight finish.
“Unfortunately football is a game of results so we looking at results, we looking to get as many points as we can,” Nyatama told gathered media.
“We still have 12 games to play, how many points? 36 points if you calculate very well, so we will fight at least to get 15 to 20 points out of 36.
“The short-term goal is to survive, a long-term goal would be in the top eight, for now, we must survive to get 30 points.“
Swallows take on Sekhukhune United next in their fixture at Dobsonville Stadium tomorrow at 17h30.
