Jose Riveiro says he would never return to coach another team in the Premier Soccer League other than Orlando Pirates.
Riveiro departed Pirates on Tuesday evening with an emphatic 3-0 win over Golden Arrows to subdue the pain of the Nedbank Cup final defeat this past weekend and leaves with five domestic cups on his CV over three seasons.

Arriving as an unknown coach, he departs as a club legend, which was showcased in an emotional send off by the players and fans whi pitched up on icy cold evening eSgodini.
“No [I won’t consider another PSL club], never,” he said in the post-match press conference. “Never… Once Always – I will never coach any other team in South Africa. I am a Buccaneer.
“Orlando Pirates is the only club that I could have the motivation and the courage and energy, and the heart in this case to coach in the country, no doubt.”
Riveiro won three MTN8 titles in a row and two Nedbank Cup crowns and looks set to be unveiled as the successor to Marcel Koller at Al Ahly this week.
