We Deserved That – Seema

Polokwane City coach Lehlohonolo Seema says his side deserved to walk away with just a point in their DStv Premiership match against Moroka Swallows at home on Saturday.

The result saw the Limpopo side in sixth place on the log with 16 points. Rise and Shine had better chances than their visitors but failed to put them away.

Their coach says his charges cannot feel hard done as their effort was not good enough on the day, saying it puts them in a precarious situation, if teams behind them do well and catch up.

“I think we deserved it, if you don’t burry your chances you can’t feel hard done by anything,” said Seema.

“I don’t think today, the effort that we put was good enough. I think Swallows was there, yes it’s a dangerous game they had their moments but I think that we didn’t play and show that we were playing at home and we wanted three points.

“Now we have made it difficult because teams that are behind us, if they win two, three games we are in trouble.

“We need to score goals. As much as we are not losing games we are not scoring goals, we are not winning matches.

“It’s a phase that needs to pass but we have to go and work and try to rectify and make sure that we score and win games.

“Defensively I don’t think we are that bad but it’s upfront where we need to work very hard to make sure that we improve.”
