Orlando Pirates secured their place in the 2nd preliminary round of the CAF Champions League after a 4-0 win over Disciples FC at Orlando Stadium on Friday evening.
After the goalless draw in the first leg in Mauritius last week, Pirates came into the game with slightly higher pressure to deliver a convincing performance for their home support.

And they did exactly that, opening the scoring in the ninth minute, albeit via an own goal after relentless waves of pressure.
Relebohile Mofokeng produced a stunning second after 25 minutes, weaving through the Malagasy champions defence before slotting one into the bottom right corner of the net.
It set the tone for several attacks from Pirates, with Sipho Chaine having not much to do but rotate possession with his defence before the moment of the match was produced.
Donning the retired number 10 shirt, only available in continental competitions at Pirates, Patrick Maswanganyi added the third with a stunner from outside the area.
‘Tito’ picked up the ball just outside the area after a weak attempt to clear a cross and smashed his effort into the top corner of the net.
And it meant Pirates could go into the second half in cruise control, with Maswanganyi taken off at half-time and replaced by Makhehleni Makhaula.
Despite holding the bulk of possession as the visitors had to chase the game, they didn’t look to force many risks, knowing they were easing into the next round of the competition.
Karim Kimvuidi put the icing on the cake, with a late 4-0 in the third minute of injury-time to send the Happy People into ruptures.
However, there were some talking points, as the referees waved an incredible four goals of the Buccaneers offside.
They will face the winner between Jwaneng Galaxy and Namibian Premier League champions African Stars – who face off tomorrow afternoon.
