Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed seven players who will miss their Carling Knockout Cup last 16 clash with TS Galaxy due to injury.
Masandawana will already be without their Bafana Bafana contingent, namely: Ronwen Williams, Khuliso Mudau, Mothobi Mvala, Teboho Mokoena, Aubrey Modiba, Grant Kekana and Themba Zwane, who are understood to travel straight to Angola from Ivory Coast.
But those are not the only absentees from the squad, as Peter Shalulile and Lucas Ribeiro are among those who have not recovered in time.
Shalulile misses out due to an ankle injury, whole Ribeiro is still sidelined with a knee injury. Abubeker Nasir (quad injury) and Bathusi Aubaas (adductor injury), who were pictured in training, have also not been passed fit enough to play.
In addition, Thapelo Morena (abdominal Injury), Sipho Mbule (ankle injury) and Siyanda Nyanga (shoulder injury) are also still sidelined, making it 14 players overall who are unavailable for selection for head coach Rulani Mokwena.
