Rulani – Chiefs Is Chiefs

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena says they can’t underestimate Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their clash at FNB Stadium.

Mokwena says he still views Chiefs as a formidable opponent, despite being eighth while Sundowns could be securing their seventh consecutive DStv Premeirship title on the evening at Soccer City.

“Chiefs is Chiefs, we all know Chiefs is Chiefs, at any day they can turn up, how I look at it? They are a big club and they deserve incredible respect, I already told you about my respect towards the Chairman,” Mokwena said.

“They have a good coach, and I know him personally because I learnt a lot from him, that’s how I look at it. They have some very good players and they have a team that is capable of beating anybody. I have no doubt they will make the top eight, no doubt in my mind.”

Amakhosi could move into sixth place, should they end Sundowns 47 match unbeaten run in the South African top-flight on Thursday evening (19h30).
