Agent Confirms Zuma Deal

Dumisani Zuma has found himself a new club after his release from Kaizer Chiefs, the player’s agent Basia Michaels told iDiski Times.

Zuma, 27, was one of the nine players who were released by Kaizer Chiefs last week, with the skilful winger being let go a year before his contract expired.

The club cited “numerous disciplinary issues” as the reason to let go of the player after a recent DC meeting, in a statement which received mixed reaction from the club’s faithful.

AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu had come out and hinted on MetroFM’s Sports Night Amplified that Zungu is one of the eight players he wants to sign ahead of the new season.

After new reports surfaced on Wednesday that Royal AM could attempt to hijack the deal, iDiski Times contacted Zuma’s agent, who confirmed his move to Usuthu is done and dusted.

“Zuma is done, we’ve signed with AmaZulu,” she told this publication.

“We’re done, we finalised it on Monday, we’re done.”

When asked for the details of the deal, Michaels briefly stated that the winger will join the KwaZulu-Natal-based side on a four-year contract.

“It’s a four-year deal, that’s the bottom line,” she continued.

AmaZulu will be Zuma’s third senior team club, after featuring 103 times for Amakhosi and 62 times for Bloemfontein Celtic.
