The Durban-based club finished ninth in the league last season, and they have now confirmed that six players who were part of that campaign have left the club.
The club announced that Matome Mathiane, Maximillian Mbaeva, Siyabonga Dube, Siboniso Conco, Lindokuhle Mtshali and Michael Gumede have all gone. Gumede has already been announced as a Richards Bay player.
Gumede scored six goals in his 29 league appearances last season. Conco scored twice in 19 games, while Mtshali featured in 11 games. Former captain Mathiane had just six appearances, scoring once and leaves after a decade at the club. Mbaeva only played three games, while Dube didn’t feature at all last season,
“We bid farewell to Matome Mathiane, Maximillian Mbaeva, Siyabonga Dube, Siboniso Conco, Lindokuhle Mtshali & Michael Gumede,” Arrows said on their Twitter account.
“We would like to thank all the players for their time and service for the club and wish them well in their respective futures.”
