Broos Names Final Bafana Squad

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced his final 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.

Broos had initially confirmed a 36-man preliminary squad, which included a few new names, with Thabo Moloisane, Devin Titus and Relebohile Mofokeng receiving their first call-ups, but only the latter made the final selection.

Burnley striker Lyle Foster has also returned for the first time since his absence from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations squad.

Bafana will face the Super Eagles on June 7 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo before hosting the Warriors on June 11 at Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.

They currently sit in second place in Group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after beating Benin 2-1 before losing 2-0 on a waterlogged pitch to Rwanda.
