Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena have named their starting line-up against Petro de Luanda as they look to secure their place in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League.
Masandawana who’s aiming to reach the last four for the first time in four years after being knocked out in the quarter-finals for two seasons in a row. The last time Sundowns reached the semi-final stage was in 2018 where they lost to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca.
The 2016 CAF Champions League winners are coming into this encounter with an away goal after suffering a 2-1 defeat in Angola just a week ago.
The two sides have met three times previously in CAF Inter-Club competitions with both sides securing one win a piece, while there has been one draw.
Ethiopian referee Bamlak Tessema Wayesa will be in charge of the second leg tie that will kick off at 18h00 at the FNB stadium.
