Cape Town Spurs defender Cohen Stander is set to be free agent with his contract coming to an end next month.
With Durban City now officially crowned as champions of the Motsepe Foundation Championship after they relegated the Urban Warriors to amateur football with a 1-0 win in their final match of the season, players automatically become free agents by virtue of the ABC Motsepe League not being considered in professional tier.

Stander’s contract is set to expire at the end of June 2025 and there have been no talks of a new contract which means he will soon be available to join a team of his choice.
The 31-year-old has been with Spurs for six years since joining them from Mbombela United. He struggled this season after suffering an injury and later coming in trying to assist the club in their survival.
