TS Galaxy and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-ups for this evening’s DStv Premiership clash at Mbombela Stadium.
Galaxy has officially qualified for the MTN8 ahead of next season for the first time in the club’s history. The Rockets beat Orlando Pirates 1-0 last weekend to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.
Sead Ramovic’s side is now contesting for a place in the CAF Confederation Cup as part of the four teams who will compete in the CAF inter-club competition. A win for Galaxy over Sundowns will see them reach 46 points, and will only need a point in their last match against Polokwane City to achieve their dream.
Sundowns broke the PSL record of 71 points completed in the 2015/16 season under the leadership of Pitso Mosimane. Masandawana currently sit top of the table with 72 points and are yet to succumb a loss this season.
Rulani Mokwena’s side could become invincibles provided that they avoid defeat in their last two matches of the campaign.
The head-to-head record between the two sides hugely favours Sundowns who have come out victorious on six occasions, with Galaxy getting just a single victory and the other fixture ending in a draw.
Here’s how the sides line up tonight:
TS Galaxy XI: Ntwari, Sebelebele, M. Mahlangu, Sanoka, Kabini, Khiba, Mvelase, Mbatha, Dithejane, S. Mahlangu, Mojela.
