Marumo Gallants goalkeeper King Ndlovu is expected to become John Maduka’s fifth signing at Maritzburg United.
The 29-year-old joined Gallants ahead of last season after he was a free agent following his departure at Black Leopards and is understood to have sent a goodbye message to his teammates after a memorable season with Bahlabane Ba Ntwaa.
The former Cape Umoya shot-stopper helped Gallants in to reach the 2022 Nedbank Cup final with great displays throughout the tournament, which also resulted in him being nominated as Player of the Tournament and led them to qualify for CAF Confederation Cup 2022/23 and .
iDiskiTimes has learned that the 29-year-old will leave ‘Gallants’ and join Maritzburg United. The former Jomo Cosmos goalkeeper is expected to be John Maduka’s fifth signing after the unveiling of Bonginkosi Makume, Given Mashikinya, Congolese international Karim Kimvuidi and Bongani Sam, who joined the club on loan from Orlando Pirates.
