Official: Bale Confirms Real Madrid Decision

Gareth Bale has confirmed that he will be leaving Real Madrid after nine years with the club.

The Welshman joined Los Blancos from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 and made 258 appearances for the Spanish giants.

He was part of the famous ‘BBC’ attacking trio alongside Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo and netted 106 goals for the club, while setting up another 67.

Overall, he lifted 19 trophies at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, including five UEFA Champions League titles.

However, he’s only made seven appearances for Real in 2021/22 after making 34 appearances for Spurs during a loan in 2020/21.

Bale is yet to confirm his future destination but thanked Real and the club’s fans for their support throughout the years in a heartfelt farewell message.
