Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that goalkeeper coach Lee Baxter will also depart the club.
Baxter has been with the club since 2018, but is the first technical team member released after new coach Arthur Zwane took over.
Many expected Lee Baxter’s departure after his father and head coach Stuart Baxter parted ways with the club earlier this year. Another indication the Lee Baxter could leave was the appointment of Aubrey Tlali Mathibe.
“The Club and goalkeeper Coach Lee Baxter are going their separate ways,” Chiefs said in a statement.
“Lee arrived at Chiefs in February 2018 and worked with a number of Head Coaches and goalkeepers.
“Thank you and all the best Mr Baxter!”
