Manchester United have confirmed that club-recored signing Paul Pogba will leave the club on a free transfer.
Pogba, a United youth product, rejoined United in a deal worth €105 million. He made 233 appearances for United, scoring 39 goals and setting up another 51.
He lifted two English League Cups and the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League with the club, but his off-field antics were often criticised by people around Old Trafford, leading to the player’s departure.
“The club can announce that Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United at the end of June, upon the expiry of his contract,” United stated on Wednesday.
