Official: Sekhukhune Part Ways With ODG

Sekhukhune United have terminated the contract of coach Owen da Gama with immediate effect, iDiski Times can confirm.

Da Gama was announced as the co-coach of Sekhukhune in late April but this website has learnt he was in fact serving as the senior of the two coaches alongside MacDonald Makhubedu.

The need for Da Gama was due to the club sliding down the table during the second half of the season – but after less than two months they have opted to part ways,

He signed his termination letter on Wednesday morning, while it’s been reported that former SuperSport United boss Kaitano Tembo could be in line to replace the veteran tactician.

Under Ga Gama’s guidance, the club secured two draws and suffered three defeats in the five league outings played.
