Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro describes the coming days as stressful for his side with the Nedbank Cup final, CAF Champions League semi-final, and Betway Premiership challenge.
Pirates reached the Nedbank Cup final for the third successive season and remained unbeaten in the tournament under Riveiro. The Sea Robbers have a chance to finish the season with four trophies as they are still competing in the league and Champions League.
The Buccaneers don’t have time to celebrate the win against Gallants as they have to shift the focus to the clash against Egyptian side Pyramids FC on Friday evening. Speaking with Lerato Phago on SuperSport TV, Riveiro mentioned that every game they play is a final, and they can not afford to lose any.
“Final after final even in the league, we know that if we want to do something big, we cannot lose any of the games,” Riveiro told SuperSportTV.
“We have to go until the end with victories, we have one final in the cup, and we have a semi-final in the Champions League, and it’s a historical moment for the club, for the fans, and all of us
“So, stressful but at the same time I think exciting for all of us, we living in a special moment in our careers as individuals and as a collective so let’s enjoy it together until then ends.”
