TS Galaxy President Tim Sukazi says failure is not an option after being elected to the National Soccer League executive committee.
Sukazi was voted to serve amongst seven others on the NSL ExCo at the 2024 elections on Wednesday afternoon with Dr. Irvin Khoza elected as Chairman unopposed.
Sukazi, Johnny Magoladi and Jomo Biyela replaced John Comitis, David Thidiela and Robert Bernadie.
Speaking after the results were confirmed, on the topic of fresh blood raised by Dr. Khoza and potential succession plans, Sukazi refused to be drawn into what the future might look like in reference to the ‘change’.
“It will be very irresponsible for one to declare they are ready to take over from where the Chairman has it, he’s still in the thick of things, there are the likes of Dr Motaung, it would be extremely irresponsible,” Sukazi said.
“All I can say is the taste is in the pudding, you have to come in and you have to serve, you have to realise the kind of task that is ahead of you.
“The membership has given confidence in all I have done as a person and I am taking that with the utmost humility but I know as much that I have my job cut out.
“You will be pleased to know that I am up for it, and failure is not an option.”
