FCSB defender Siyabonga Ngezana’s release clause has been confirmed by his agent as he continues to impress in Europe and could earn a big move.
Romanian giants FCSB could lose Ngezana next (European) summer and the former Kaizer Chiefs defender continues to attract interest from different teams in Europe.
The defending SuperLiga champions are doing well in the UEFA Europa League after winning three of their four matches, and Ngezana played in two of those games – a 4-0 loss against Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers and a 2-0 win against Denmark side Midtjylland.
His agent Florin Vulturar revealed to Fanatik SuperLeague that there are so many teams asking about Ngezana and FCSB could lose him next summer.
The 27-year-old defender’s contract with FCSB will expire in June 2027, and Vulturar also confirmed that the release clause is €10 million (R193 million), and Chiefs hold a 10% sell-on fee.
“I say it [interest] has grown a lot. Probably in the summer we can talk about a transfer for him if he will continue to be at this level. It may grow,” Vulturar told Fanatik.
“If there are good results in Europe as well, everyone will be watching them. He has a 10 million euro termination clause, something like that.
“There are many questions about him, but until the summer the transfer issue does not arise”
