Former Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ronnie Kanalelo is set to become the next head coach of Marumo Gallants.
The 55-year-old Namibian was in charge of champions African Stars and has led them to the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League qualifiers where they will face Orlando Pirates.

Stars beat Gabonese giants Mangasport via the away goal rule after a 3-3 aggregate score, having beaten them 2-0 in Tshwane this weekend, overturning the 3-1 loss last week.
With previous experience as the assistant coach for the Brave Warriors national team and time in the Premier Soccer League as the goalkeeper coach under Ernst Middendorp, Kanalelo has intimate experience of African and South African football.
Gallants were previously close to securing Dimitar Pantev to succeed Phuti Mohafe but talks have broken down due to personal terms and iDiski Times have now been informed the club have lured the Namibian tactician to the PSL again – as it is understood that he has already had his first training session with the team.
During his playing days he had eight years at Masandawana before his retirement back in 2005, before starting his coaching career in his homeland.
