After Mamelodi Sundowns and ES Tunis booked their ticket for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, here are all teams that have qualified for the extended 32-team tournament so far.
The new 32-team competition will take place in the United States between June and July 2025, with four African sides set to take part.
Al Ahly and Wydad AC had already booked their tickets after winning the recent editions of the CAF Champions League, while Sundowns Tunis have qualified via the ranking pathway – note ES Tunis could still also be listed as winner as they could lift this year’s CAFCL trophy.
After TP Mazembe were knocked out by Al Ahly, no team can overtake ES Tunis and Sundowns in the ranking pathway, which was opened because Al Ahly have won multiple trophies over the past four years, which are taken into consideration by FIFA.
Sundowns have joined an illustrious list of clubs such as UEFA Champions League record champions Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Brazilian giants Palmeiras and Flamengo, among others.
