In this week’s edition, we take a look at some of the transfers that happened earlier this year that may not have worked out as planned. We also pay tribute to Africa’s new record cap holder Janine Van Wyk, who played her last game for Banyana Banyana on Monday. Lethabo Kganyago chatted with Chippa United and Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali. Velile Mnyandu caught up with former Bafana Bafana, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder Godfrey Sapula. Lethabo also reconnected with Bongi Makume, who has not only found a club in Upington City, but is proving to be a lucky charm. Meanwhile, Robin-Duke Madlala spoke to another former Bafana, Sundowns and Pirates player, Wayne Sandilands, who is now AmaZulu’s goalkeeper coach. Last but not least, we look at Stellenbosch and TS Galaxy after they booked their places in the Carling Knockout final.
